Could this be the perfect solution to stop a crawling/walking DC attacking the tree?

HazelnutHazelnutsTree · 11/11/2006 21:30

we used a fire guard and the settee.

tortoise · 11/11/2006 21:36

I have to say i have not had any problems with any of mine and the tree.
I wasn't sure if a poster was good idea or madness!

dd1 was fine, but dd2 was trying to scale it from being a baby!

DelGirl · 11/11/2006 21:55

I'm going to put a small one up on the sideboard this year. If I put the 6ft one up, dd would be up it faster than a rat up a drainpipe. She climbs everything! We're away for a week over christmas so it won't matter much and she's only 19mths so she won't know.

ilovedolly · 11/11/2006 22:10

tiny tree, wide high window sill.

CantSleepWontSleep · 11/11/2006 22:12

But does the poster smell of Christmas trees?
They should at least make it scratch and sniff.

tortoise · 11/11/2006 22:14

@ scratch and sniff!

I've got a 3ft fibre optic one that's lovely, would love a big 6ft one but 3 cats, one 2.4yo, one crawling and climbing 10 month old theres no chance. TBH I would rather have the little one up and not constantly be pulling DD2 off it and telling DD1 not to touch it, far too much hassle. I'm having a real one outside though.

NappiesGalore · 12/11/2006 09:42

hello SK! how are you?

ooh, like the real one outside thing, with tasteful simple white lights on. yeah.

and next year, when we will be back in our, by then gorgeous house, i will be v festive indeed! tasteful be damned, im going for seriously OTT

this year thoug, the poster rules.

scratch n sniff would be brillient!!

helenhismadwife · 12/11/2006 15:03

thats brilliant no need to hoover up the needles every day!!!

sweetkitty · 12/11/2006 22:34
