Anyone seen a cheap digital camera?

Fairly basic one for dd1(6) mainly for snapping rather than proper pics.

Have just bought vivitar 5105 off ebay for dds 6th birthday, i got it for £42 including postage but it has a european plug for the charger so the adaptor has cost me £6 and £11 for a 1gb memory card (also from ebay) so actually not that cheap! But all digital cameras are gonna need memory cards if you wanna take more than about 10 pics!
I do think its worth it though as she is going to be snapping away loads so i can just print the good pics unlike with a 35mm. And it does seem very good, good quality pics (5mega pix), easy to use, very small so will fit in her pocket and as long as she looks after it it should last her a long time.

We have some SD cards from an old camera of mine so hopefully I can get one that uses those!

Depends how cheap and cheerful you want.

Argos also has a cheaper one and Tesco's have some cheapies too

nikkie, whatever you get make sure it has a viewfinder so dd1 can take pictures even in really bright light - screens don't work then.

(A lot of cheap digitals don't have a viewfinder)

it has web cam/video withsound. and takes pics

Does yours have a view finder 2shoes?
Think I need to look at some in shops rather than online!

I got one from PC world, Currys had the same one but they just ignored me, so went to PC world intending to ask about the ones online butfound the same one as in Currys.I haven't tested it yet though.
