Are tamagotchis OK for boys to have? Always thought it was a 'girl thing' but actually DS (7) would probably enjoy one (for a bit) ?

Can you get blue/ black ec?

ISawTortoiseKissingSantaClaus · 26/11/2006 21:42

Both my DS's have one. A silver one and a camoflage one!
I love looking after them but am glad of the pause feature when i have to go out!

TooTickyDoves · 26/11/2006 21:43

Nightmare things!

CornflakeMum · 26/11/2006 21:53

Why nightmare?

Troutpout · 26/11/2006 21:56

Yes good for boys too.ds has three ..he's had them for about 2 years..and still likes them (he's 9).Quite a lot of the boys at ds' school have them

TooTickyDoves · 26/11/2006 22:19

Too much responsibility and grief, and they are just beepy plastic things fgs! (Yes, I had to look after dd1's).

CornflakeMum · 26/11/2006 22:20

can you kill them or stop them if it gets too much?

Troutpout · 26/11/2006 22:22

You just leave them on pause cornflake.
Nowt to do with me...is ds's responsibility anyway

Gillian76 · 26/11/2006 22:27

I got one for DD2 in Asda last night. She's been asking for one for months now! Santa will bring it

£12.49 in there and they had quite a few designs.

ISawTortoiseKissingSantaClaus · 26/11/2006 22:30

They will die if not looked after when not paused.Ive managed to kill a few before remembering the pause feature!
