Christmas spreadsheet?

When I was last on this site (computer crash has forced me offline for a while) someone mentioned they had a Christmas spreadsheet. I think I'm beginning to panic - will someone let me know what one is and will it help.

Thanks

could it be something that has all the pressies you buy for people on it, where you are getting them from, if you have got them and how much they are? E.g you keep track of how much you are spending?

Or could be something similar for the big days food prep!

It will help and certainly keeps things straight in your head. All you really need to do is go to word and start making colums. Who you need to buy for, what you think they might be getting and how much you are willing to spend. Make several copies and take one with you everywhere. When you have finished buying and wrapping for someone cross them off.

I do mine in Excel, not word. Much better for spreadsheets (as that is what the programme is designed for)

I have one in Excel as Harrogatemum described, it's great for jotting down ideas you get while you're on Mumsnet It also includes any birthdays between November and January.
