Have a £10 budget (agreed in advance) to spend on SIL but a bit stuck, got her chocs for her birthday, don't want to repeat. She has no time to herself as she also runs a business from home so any childfree time goes on that.
Bath smellies is too boring but I was thinking maybe her a really decent mascara as most of us stop buying new make up when kids arrive.
What do you think?

You might want to go to accessorize. They have loads of cute stuff for under 10. Scarfs, gloves, cute compacts, beautiful brushes & combs.I get loads of stuff for my daughter's various teachers there. Its what you are ooking for I think

Mascara a lovely idea, but remember it's hard to swap if it's not her thing. Accessorize sounds good.

A girlfriend gave me a pretty nightie after i had dd1 and I really appreciated the thought that it was for me, and not to be shared, or for the house

Never worn it tho

A voucher for 2 tickets to the cinema and a homemade voucher with IOU one baby sitting evening so that she and her DH/DP can go out.

I did that before I had kids for my brother and SIL.

Luxury bath oil does it for me, my best friend and my MIL! You know the sort that is a little too expensive to buy for yourself but you would love to receive as a pressie! One year, someone generously gave me a bottle of L'Occitane bubble bath which was a real treat and I remembered it well. Methinks it might be over a tenner so I would suggest shopping around! Alternatively, an expensive lipstick maybe - after all, it's the small luxuries which are sacrificed first when you have kids.

Great, glad to see mascara's popular , I've only got 2 under 4 and mine's ancient. She used to be a goth so knows how to use it but I thought black/brown suits everyone.
Thanks for your help.

batteries (for all the annoying childrens toys)

A voucher for a lie-in!

How about some candles for round the bath, some nice bath oil and a book?
