Having seen the queue stretching for miles outside the Heelys shop at Bluewater today, I reckon they must be the "must have" Christmas item this year. Bargain price of 65 quid .

What will your little darlings be asking Santa for this year do you think?

What is it?

Mine will be asking for the things that I have been putting into their minds they want for the last three months, ie. things I've already bought or am going to buy

My ds is 14 at xmas, and wants a nintendo wii.
Its due out on the 8th Dec, and you are not guaranteed to get one even if you pre order.

Would love to get it for him though.

So, roller skates then.

KBear · 21/10/2006 23:08

yeah, but 21st century EXPENSIVE ones! Not like the roller boots like we had in my day - well I didn't have them because we had second hand ones from the jumble that strapped onto your plimsolls but you get my drift!

DS is still raving on about Hot Wheels, and he aint having any, I bought him 3 last year, and they are crap, especially for the cost.

TeeJaye · 22/10/2006 02:48

These are selling like hotcakes at the moment and being sold on for silly prices on ebay ! Check out the video .

KBear · 22/10/2006 08:01

slaughterfalls - agree about Hotwheels stuff - bought DS a Hotwheels toy last year and it took us ages to set it up, didn't work properly, fell apart, suitable only for the bin.

Dr Who toys, especially the cyberman voice changer mask. My 7 year old ds is mad on Doctor Who and I have been quietly clocking the amount of toys in the shops - the voice changer masks have been selling very quickly, so I've been told.

Am going to look on ebay soon - Any info on ebay or other online Dr Who shops much appreciated.

I have seen those heelys and so relieve my sons don't seem interested in this new risk of falling flat on their heads. I wonder how many parents are going to be spending Christmas day ith a heely injured child in a Hospital Outpatients department?

ludaloo · 22/10/2006 08:26

My dd1 wants a spectrum colour change teddybear...sold out everywhere! Looked on Woolies, ToysRus, Argos... all sold out!

KBear · 22/10/2006 08:30

tigermoth - now the trampolines are packed away, something else to keep A&E busy then. Didn't think of that!

I am on a "distract and divert" mission to get DD to spend her birthday money on something else. Not working so far!
