Kindle or HUDL

Was planning on getting dh a kindle but he's recently mentioned a HUDL.
He has a long commute and really wanted something so he could read on the train but if HUDL is good for reading and other features just wondering if that would be a better idea. I am not very good with technology!!

you can use the kindle app on tablet devices but it will not be as good for reading as the kindle. If he prefers the thought of a hudl rather than a kindle then I would buy what he wants.

The Hudl is a tablet computing device. You can read books on it too.

The Kindle is an e-reader - designed for reading only.

I'd go with the former, more bang for your buck.
