Cheap annuals?

Anyone seen any decent offers on annuals? Last year Poundland had loads of decent ones in, and various 3 for 2 offers in WH Smiths etc. I haven't seen any this year - am I looking in the wrong places??

Wh smiths have a deal. I think it's but one get one half price, but I can't remember exactly.

Asda had 3 for £10, not sure if they still do though

enderwoman · 13/12/2014 15:08

Sainsburys had a few marked at £2 or £3 but scan at £1. I got Tipleys for kids, Angry Birds, Star Wars Rebels and Family Guy for £1. The other £1 annuals that I recall reading about was Flappy Bird

FamiliesShareGerms · 13/12/2014 18:17

Great tip, thanks ender. Had a good scour of the shops today but the best I found was two for £8

BOGOF in WHSmiths yesterday but not a huge choice. Couldn't get one for DD, bought 2 for DS instead (Simpsons and Marvel)

hels71 · 13/12/2014 18:18

argos had some at half price.

Asda definately has 3 for £10. So do The Works. Smiths normaly do buy one get one half price

LumionaMoonsplash · 13/12/2014 19:03

The works had loads in when I went.

FamiliesShareGerms · 14/12/2014 00:37

The Works had loads at £4 (ie same as BOGOF at £8). Have found loads on Amazon for £1/£2/£3 so have bought my 14 copies - because I buy so many the extra few ££s here and there really adds up. Plus through Quidco so a few quid extra off in due course.

I feel slightly guilty at how much I've bought from Amazon this year (tax dodgers etc ) but feel pushed towards them for the choice and price Sad
