Real tree next to a radiator

I really want to have a real tree this year but the only suitable place for a tree in our living room is next to a radiator. Will it wither and die very quickly or will it be ok if I have the radiator on low and water the tree lots?

Mine, is and always is, I don't have the radiator low either- just check the water daily and top up as needed.

Mine all used to wilt pretty quickly.

Get a non drop one and water it a lot.

Ours is always by the fire which is lit 24/7 and is fine. Low drop tree, well watered, lasts from when we put it up (after school breaks up) until 12th night no problem.

mine is next to radiator too - on low and lots of watering, I check it twice a day to be sure - its a nordsman fir, had it in since 1st Dec and its going fine :)
