What does it mean by her mother told her the "secret" about Santa long ago?

Looking to buy some new christmas films. Does this give it away? I thought it was a children's film?!

That he wasn't real? But she ends up believing in the end

Yes, that Santa isn't real. That fairy tales and make believe and magic are all nonsense.

Both mother and child believe in the end. It's a good movie.

Thank you !

Santa is just a man with a beard, hired by the department store.

Haven't seen the new version the old one is really good!, but I assume they didn't change it much.

He is Santa,.

The little girl has been told that her mother provides all the gifts. She believes in Father Christmas in the end as does her Mother and all of New York. It is most lovely.

In our house we have the 'not everyone believes in Father Christmas and then their parents bring them gifts instead' line so it has never caused any issue that she didn't believe (Mother got gifts) then did believe (greatest gift of all from FC).

Can I just put in a plea for the old one? The ending is so much better!
