Yule log, bouche de Noel.

I have never made one before but am thinking of giving it a whirl. Fancy one with lots of kirsch soaked cherries, cream and chocolate.

Any favourite recipes? Any tops tips for making it look like a log and not like a turd?

The chestnut cream was brilliant. Nobody mentioned it looking like a turd but possibly because I squashed it in the fridge and it looked more like roadkill Didn't stop it being eaten v quickly.

I'm sure cherries could be added
