His main present is a European (undecided) city weekend break. I'm giving him cash to book it but would like some small gifts to wrap up with the cash so he has something to open. So far I have
Chocolate
iPad cover
That's it!!

He likes to bake, films, football, but he's not one for trinkets and tat. I'm struggling!

Are you going to decide on the city before Christmas? If so, a guide book to the city - or a guide book to European cities.
DVD
Cook book
Annual/scarf/calander/mug for his local team

Torch
Fire striker
Gloves (maybe the ones you can use a smartphone with?)
Book
Unusual bottle of beer or other favourite drink
Nano blocks
Key ring (with dp's photo if you have them?)

With dc's photo obviously. A photo of himself would be a little odd!

Nice microwave popcorn for movie nights. Especially if you can find unusual ones like chilli flavor. Or maybe wasabi peas, or broad beans in stuff (I know I got both the peas and beans one year for DH just can't remember what was on the beans - he loved both with a bunch of Christmas beers).

Does he drink coffee or tea? A nice seasonal blend, or a special mix (I got DH a sleeve of Cuban coffee nespresso pods this year - very strong, as he loves, and a reminder of our holiday there 10 years ago).

Some unusual flavourings for baking with? Like orange essence, or lavender, ginger, poppyseeds, ....something from Lakeland or a specialist bakery shop that is not your run of the mill thing? Or maybe a small but useful tool?

Thank you so much! Some really excellent ideas. Some I've not heard of so am off to google. Smile
