Really nice soft toy?!

Whowillsaveyoursoul · 07/12/2014 08:17

Ds (5) has a soft toy on his list. In all honesty it will probably be his favourite item! But strangely I can't find one I like. I was looking at squishables but they're huge and actually I think he might prefer something he can tote around with him.
I quite like this guy m.ebay.co.uk/itm/111537782282?nav=SEARCH but worried he won't look like his photo!

Will spend up to about £30.

Marks and spencers ones are nice and are all half price at the moment, the snodog one Is cute but there are others, my dd loved the polar bear as it's very soft.

My dds favourite teddy came from Ikea, they always have a good selection.

I was going to say the snowdog at Marks and Spencer's to , it's half price and very lovely.

SweepTheHalls · 07/12/2014 08:48

Jelly cats are all wonderful

Artandco · 07/12/2014 08:52

Yes all the jelly cat range. I have brought ds1 a monkey and ds2 the elephant this year. They are super soft. Various sizes also

AngelCauliflower · 07/12/2014 08:54

Hi, I didn't know about squishables. They look great. I am tempted to get one for my ds who was 6 a few weeks ago. My ds loves cuddly toys, his most recent favourites are a lotso bear and large Kermit the frog.

Sorry I don't have any good suggestions for you. It is mainly TV/movie characters I buy for my ds . Hopefully people will come along with some good suggestions for you.

Whowillsaveyoursoul · 07/12/2014 09:03

If you buy one squishy10 gives 10% off.
I like the penguin but I think ds might prefer something smaller...

Thanks for jellycat suggestions. I like this one... But he might be a bit small! I want something in the middle of huge and tiny.

John Lewis have some nice ones in their own range, they also stock Jellycat and you can do free click and collect from your local Waitrose.

Can you all guess what I've just done Smile

Xmas2014MN2531 · 07/12/2014 11:22

My DS is getting the spiderman build a bear without an outfit. He's going to love it.

StuntCodPiece · 07/12/2014 13:45

9" Ty Beanie Boos are adorable. My dc buy one every year on holiday with their savings and they also get one in their xmas eve packages. Loads to choose from. My dc have 14 between them BlushShock

This is dds new one

SageSeymour · 07/12/2014 15:26

Check out the sheepskin teddy from john lewis. Yes it's for babies but it's so adorable that I've bought it for my 8 year old DS ( he loves a nice cuddly toy! )

It's flat so they can lie their head on it in bed, a nice size and super soft. It's not cheap at. £35 but worth looking at for a special present

Lifesalemon · 07/12/2014 16:13

I want a Disney store Sven from frozen.

martymcfry · 07/12/2014 16:20

I like noodolls, they are a bit quirky rather that run if the mill soft toys

GirlAnachronism · 07/12/2014 16:31

got to say Jellycat. DD is getting a monkey from Santa this year (her request) and i have to say its a gorgeous toy. A lot of the characters come in different sizes too.

Whowillsaveyoursoul · 07/12/2014 17:25
