Best Stollen

Just wondering who sells the best stollen? I love the stuff but sometimes it can be a bit dry.

Any tips on where to go for a lovely moist one - the more marzipan the better IMO

Aldi or Tesco are the best i've found so far.

obv if you can get the proper stuff from a german market, they pale into insignificance, but if you dont have one on hand, those are the two best IMHO.

Lidl's is good - marzipany but not buttery.

LIDL all the way with a thick wodge of marzipan through it

co-op mini bites, better than Aldi IMHO.

I found Lidl's mini stollen dry, maybe that's were I went wrong and I should have bought a full size one!

Will definitely give tescos a go as its the nearest supermarket to me and I'm now feeling an emergency stollen buying trip coming on.

We had a Lidl stollen last year and found it dry. Have previously enjoyed the luxury versions from Sainsbury's and M&S.

I wouldn't buy a Lidl one again.
