How much do you spend on the children?

Before joining mumsnet I thought most people spent £100s on each of their children, but now I'm noticing threads which are making me think dh is right and I go over the top. So without wanting to cause an argument, do you have a set amount?

Approx £400 on 20 years old, approx £300 on 12 year old and £200 on 4 year old. This includes all their presents. I don't exactly have a budget though but do what feels right.

I expect last year, my eldest two were more equal (or the middle one may have cost more because she had a lap top).
