No exciting thread title this time I’m afraid...

As previously, if you shot a link in the OP links isn’t working/no longer in date, please let me know by posting in bold so I can easily see to update Thanks

If I’ve missed anything good from any last threads onto the list please let me know.

I'm sure it was a link on here that prompted me to buy my 8 month old baby a John Deere ride on tractor from Halfords in their deal of the day. Flowers
Obviously waiting for him to grow into this one! Used a code from HUKD to get another 10% off.

I'm now tempted by the red Audi electric car on Amazons lightening deals down to £70. I must be mad!

Shamazeballs · 02/12/2014 20:48

Thanks GirlWithTheYellowHat

I'm in mk. We have a huge new smyths it's just facing parking there if it's not that one in stock! May have to try Thursday.

Prizepudding · 02/12/2014 20:56

You can check stock online at smyths stores, saves a wasted visit

andadietcoke · 02/12/2014 20:56

Has anyone seen any offers on ski gloves or Men's North Face coats? They have coats on Very but not the one he wants (Nanavik). I'm sure I got mine from Mountain Warehouse based on a thread recommendation last year but they don't seem to stock TNF any more.

tipsyloolah · 02/12/2014 21:02

Not going mad at all - I got Xmas pasta in Lidl last year. Forgot to use it until months later; remember it having a really long expiration date (years), so if you do see it, get it for next year too!

The Lindt thing is quite nasty online - it's only chocolate Sad. Sob stories, anger, greed, all for something that doesn't taste that great anymore. I did try to get one for staff room gift but some people on Twitter are just being horrible; I feel sorry for them too waitingonasunnyday.

ihatethecold · 02/12/2014 21:08

People can be so weird sometimes!

wyldstile · 02/12/2014 21:11

I got xmas pasta from Amazon last year, 6 packs in a box. Must have been reasonably priced, or I wouldn't have paid it. Think I used 5 as presents, the last one has been in the cupboard all year.

Moltenpink · 02/12/2014 21:30

Cineworld have sing a long Frozen in movies for juniors this weekend, £1.35 a ticket. Bargain!

RosieBdy · 02/12/2014 21:35

Thanks tipsy and wildstyle I'll keep popping in, maybe some will turn up! If not I'll have to check out Amazon or Ikea...

Sleepstarved · 02/12/2014 21:45

I think I am going to be sick.
Have just seen Mothercare had the Rosebud Country House for £60 when I paid the full £100 for it months ago.
Mine hasn't been out of the box, maybe I could have returned it and bought cheaper one. Deal finished now though anyway.
Goddamnit

RJnomore · 02/12/2014 22:20

Did anyone else get the free tablet with the tastecard ages ago?

If so, any suggestions for a cheap case for it?

I'm giving it to my mil and I wanted to get a case and a google play gift card to go with it.

Shamazeballs · 02/12/2014 22:20

Annoyingly stock checker just says they have some of the vehicles in stock. It doesn't say what dog Sad

It's not even regular price on us amazon. The others are. Typically this one isn't!

Dirtydancer · 02/12/2014 22:30

Can anyone help with a superdrug code? My eldest has asked for aftershave and it's the cheapest there but I'd like to try to save a bit more if possible. Thanks

mandmsmummy · 02/12/2014 22:30

Ideas please!

3 nephews in mid to late 20s, cannot find anything for them. All gadgety types. Help! X

RJnomore · 02/12/2014 22:41

Just sorting out my handbag and I've came across a body shop flier

40% off, online or in store, for love your body card members on the 4th and 5th December. Also if you spend £30 or more you get a free bundle worth £26.50 - vit e cleanser, Shea hand cream, vanilla lip gloss and honey bubble bath melt.

No code, just use your card and you should get it automatically.

BirdingWidow · 02/12/2014 22:42

I looked in ikea (edmonton) for Christmas pasta on Sunday and couldn't find it either by the tills, in the special Christmas grotto or the food shop bit, so not sure they are doing it, unless I was unlucky with timing. Lakeland had some a few weeks back - I seem to remember it wasn't cheap (maybe £2-3ish for 500g bag?) but if you don't have to pay postage it may be worth a look.

ProveMeWrong · 02/12/2014 22:51

mandmsmummyDH got one of these last year and it is so handy when you just want some music while sitting outside, or if your car radio is rubbish, or just as a small room speaker. So easy, works from a phone, teeny tiny and battery lasts ages! And no wires required with Bluetooth!

ecofreckle · 02/12/2014 22:59

Andadietcoke you could try tkmaxx for ski gloves. The Bedford and Milton Keynes ones had plenty of choice last week.

Anyone else got a hard to buy for cool crafty sister? I've been done for couple of weeks now except for her. It's hard as it can't be craft stuff, toiletries or jewellery as she runs businesses in these areas. Totally. At. A. Loss. Anyone else? £40 ish and happy to get few smaller things. I really want to move on now Smile

Thanks ProveMe just ordered one for DB. He's notoriously hard to buy for and one of the last on my list to buy for. I think he'll like that. Thanks

Bizarrely, read this thread, then decided to check my junk email folder for first time in 2 months. First one to come up was 1st Oct, Ikea recalls Christmas pasta... That'll be why you can't find it, then:

If you have purchased PASTAÄLGAR FULLKORN, elk-shaped wholegrain pasta, or PASTAÄLGAR, elk-shaped pasta, from the Swedish Food Market at IKEA, please be aware that the product may contain soy. As a precautionary measure, we have decided to recall this product.
