miserable I recall buying half price childrens workbooks from m&s, which I think came under the toy sale. They were supposed to be delivered by Christmas Eve, some where, some weren't. I got them as last minute stocking fillers for dds. It was a few days before Christmas.

Interestingly, I think on Christmas Eve after 5pm, I bought all my half-price cards and wrapping paper for this year. I recall some of the workbooks being delivered with that!

Nix01 · 02/12/2014 10:12

Can anyone recommend some tough (child proof) children's over the war headphones?

Nix01 · 02/12/2014 10:13

Over the ear, not war!

PurpleHebe1 · 02/12/2014 10:16

Drank, who am I trying to kid, I neeed them too! I tried to justify it by using them to fill the bargain choc sleigh from the mould I've just ordered from Lakeland (only £5.99). That takes takes of about 200g of balls, leaving 1.3kg for me-perfect!( If I get anySad)

wigglesrock · 02/12/2014 10:16

Nix01 - I bought Sainsburys over the ear headphones for my 7 year old yesterday - they were half price - 7.99. I've bought Sainsbos ones before and been really pleased with them. She uses them every day and they also get used by an over eager 3 year old. They had a few colours I think I bought grey ones.

Lindt 1.5kg seems to have gone back up to 45 quid now, hoping it will go down later.

Although my waistline would thank me if it didn't.

5446 · 02/12/2014 10:24

Weird - just refreshed and back to 10!

DrankSangriaInThePark · 02/12/2014 10:27

Lindt back up but now showing £45 for 1.5 kg.

Never mind. Sad

DrankSangriaInThePark · 02/12/2014 10:28

Xposts Grin

SantasFavouriteHo · 02/12/2014 10:52

Womens Superdry On Duty Saints Jacket Lodge Green down to £14 from £80

Nix01 · 02/12/2014 11:01

Thank you Wiggles, will have a look out when I pop in there later. Are they childrens size or adjustable adult sizes?

wigglesrock · 02/12/2014 11:14

Mine were adjustable adults, I didn't look at the childrens.

Waitingonasunnyday · 02/12/2014 11:17

I have a Lindt basket I keep refreshing. It was £45 and is now £35! But I wanted it for £10... do you think it was meant to be £10 off and someone cocked up their website?

zipzap · 02/12/2014 11:26

Gutted to have just missed the Lindt deal - I tried refreshing but solidly £45 until it's just turned to £35. I reckon you're right waiting and that somebody cocked up setting the deal within the website. And they only noticed when they got huge numbers of hits.

Annoyingly I usually check this page as I'm getting up or getting back from the school run and today not only was ds1 on a school trip so I was up extra early but I then stayed and helped do some bits at school in anticipation of the christmas fayre so didn't get home early otherwise I'd have been in time. sob.

tipsyloolah · 02/12/2014 11:35

zipzap I tried the Lindt thing for ages before school and it didn't work so I think all of us weeping about it can probably take comfort that we wouldn't have got the deal anyway Sad.

macnab · 02/12/2014 11:49

Does anyone have a code for WH Smith? My brother wants 3 books, that's the only place that have all 3 in stock so I might as well buy from there but would love a discount please!

macnab · 02/12/2014 11:59

I found one! SANTA15 gives 15% off and worked for me. Not a huge discount but better than nothing, and it was free delivery. Another person ticked off my list Smile

Joycetotheworld · 02/12/2014 12:01

Thanks Macnab

Earlytorise · 02/12/2014 12:02

Oh bloody hell!!! I've been waiting for Lindt prices to fall online and in the shops, how could I have missed such a good deal? Sad

Anyway if anyone sees any bargainous Lindt while shopping please shout.

Thanks

Petallic · 02/12/2014 12:06

Blacks have an offer online of buy one get one half price. But I've just just bought only one pair of gloves and the offer updated my basket to half price. So might be good it you have any outdoorsy people left to buy for.

MooseyMoo · 02/12/2014 12:18

Yes, Sainsbury TU has 25% off today (until 8th Dec)

Questionsquestionsquestions · 02/12/2014 12:22

Yep - Sainsburys have 25% off clothing, starting today. Lots of Anna and Elsa dresses in my store, for £11.25!

divabroad · 02/12/2014 12:24

Not Lindt but Thorntons for 25 delivered

Pigleychez · 02/12/2014 12:27

oh poo! I LOVE Lindt chocolates too! :(

Having a crap few days! Sat night getting ready to go out I went and burnt my forehead on the heated curling wand. Hibernating now whilst it heals as I look stupid!
Realised last night I never actually completed an online order for handmade gifts for the DD's teachers and now they have stopped taking orders for xmas :( Back to the drawing board there.
DH's present was declined as my card expired. No email to tell me this.. Just tried to update it but it took me through some quick pay thing and has ordered it again on the old card! Grr..
Think i'm just going to give up and go back to bed.

Has anyone seen a chocolate mobile phone on their travel?. Like Thorntons do the shaped blocks of chocolates. Bought my niece an Itunes voucher but it needs something else little with it.

MissRainbowBrite · 02/12/2014 13:01

The Frozen dolls from Ebay China (ordered on the 21st November) have arrived today but still no sign of the Aliexpress ones which I ordered on the 3rd November! Not sure how long to give it before I dispute the Aliexpress ones and ask for a refund.
The quality of the ebay ones is good and they don't smell funny so very impressed for £14 for the two.
