zipzap · 01/12/2014 16:24

I've just bought a PS Vita console for ds1 for £130 - he'd been begging for it but I'd dismissed it as it had been £230.

But Amazon have it on offer including a bundle of 10 games and an 8GB memory card for £130 -or £135 if you want it without the games and extra memory card Confused. They're selling minecraft for £14 to go with it - there were other bundles including minecraft and fifa 15 but this way it works out much cheaper and it means there's a good selection of games to play on it as well as just minecraft!

tipsyloolah · 01/12/2014 16:26

I can't get into that ghd link at all Sad - even if I copy and paste; and when I Google them and click on those links, they don't work either. Is y computer telling me to stop?

WUME · 01/12/2014 16:37

Diva can you link to tablecloth pls Smile

divabroad · 01/12/2014 16:50

Wume, there are two Christmas tableclothes there. I bought this and other one is green

306235388 · 01/12/2014 16:53

Ugh I'm ill and trying to cheer myself up by trawling amazon but don't have any more shopping to do.

I'm wondering though - has anyone had any decent quality outdoor lights that are battery powered?

meerschweinchen · 01/12/2014 17:05

Computer says 'No, no more shopping!' Smile

Does this work?
www.hqhair.com/health-beauty/brands/ghd.list?s=ghd

306235388 · 01/12/2014 17:10

Dammit I've just bought an annual, a toy tool kit and an encyclopaedia.

Can I block amazon ?!?!

306235388 · 01/12/2014 17:13

Essential obv.

MooseyMoo · 01/12/2014 17:19

More twitching ... Bought DS the Bigjigs Triple shed for £9.99 (£18 full price) from TKMaxx as free delivery

Reastie · 01/12/2014 18:23

IHeart we've got one like this one. Not the exact one but very smilar. Also from JL. It looks a bit weedy in the picture but looks great with decorations and is a bit different to the normal fake tree. We also chose it because our one is very narrow (didn't check dimensions of linked one so assuming the same) whereas most of them are super wide and wouldn't fit in our small gap.

Joycey go to your profile at the top menu I think, I haven't got around to nn changing yet.

I just twitched with this play-doh . Can be split so you can do multiple birthday/Christmas presents from it. DD has one of the sweet maker things already and it's great.

IHeartKingThistle · 01/12/2014 19:08

Thanks Reastie - I really like that. Ordered this in the end as it's really slim - also managed to convince DH that as it's thin it needs to be the 7ft. I'm really quite concerned it's going to look insane as it'll be almost at the ceiling so I'll bear the JL one in mind!

DrankSangriaInThePark · 01/12/2014 19:30

I got my telegraph box confirmation as well.

Anybody (like me) still not done photo calendars, Vistaprint are doing 3 x 1 until midnight tomorrow with code CYBER which takes the price to £13.99 for 3. (obv without the usual Ryanair style addons that Vistaprint like so much, but still....I'll probably do them as I need 3 and haven't got my arse into gear early enough to get nice photobox ones.

Loads of other stuff knocked down on Vistaprint, and I think their cashback is quite good.

NorksEnormous · 01/12/2014 19:43

Anyone seen any super cheap sea monkeys/ aqua dragons?

meerschweinchen · 01/12/2014 19:50

That vistaprint deal would be ideal, as I could do with 3 calendars. However, we're hoping to get some professional photos taken this week, so I'd rather use those than my own v amateurish ones. I'm just hoping there's still some good deals around by the time we're ready to order. Eek, cutting it a bit fine.

I've also decided I need another toy for the 1 year old. He loves putting things in something and taking them out again. Does a toy exist which involves this sort of thing? I wouldn't even know what to call it to Google it.
I've a feeling the answer might be 'cardboard box'! Anyone know what I'm talking about and have any suggestions please?

Oh, and after reading the suggestions on here, I had a look at the Crabtree and Evelyn website. I don't know if this has already been mentioned, but they're doing daily offers for every day of advent.

Today's is a Hand therapy musical tin, down to £24 from £40

supermariossister · 01/12/2014 19:55

maybe the fisher price learning piggy bank you put the large coins in and take them out, seems popular with small folk Smile.

notenoughtogoround · 01/12/2014 19:59

CYBER2014 gives 10% off on notonthehighstreet until midnight.

margaritasbythesea · 01/12/2014 20:03

There is a jack in the box made by Galt, except the 'jack' is a frog. My toddlers loved it. Probably our most played with toy because you can make lots of different small toys jump out of it. I'll link when I can make ANY shopping website work.

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 01/12/2014 20:04

meer the galt pop up toy is great for that age very popular with my 2 Smile

or maybe a little life reins backpack can use as a bag then u can attach reins as he gets

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 01/12/2014 20:05

as he gets bigger. loads of designs aswell Grin

GerrardWinstanley · 01/12/2014 20:09

Sorry if this has already been mentioned but if you download the Matalan rewards app then you'll be sent a daily deal (via the app). Today's is 24% off everything. Apparently. Haven't read the small print. You do need to register for a reward card to get the deals though

margaritasbythesea · 01/12/2014 20:11

galt frog

And / or a ball tower although more limited IMO.

And / or clack track click clack track

God I miss my toddler toys!

Serious twitch over the playdoh set. It's a good thing the argos website keeps crashing!
