a light for a bunk bed

can anyone help with that, no electrics nearby so no chance of anything that plugs in but leaving the large light on when they are reading is a bit of a pain they see it as still daytime and mess about!

You might be best looking at camping lights/lanterns which are battery powered and some may have fixings to attach. You need the light to be bright enough to read by. Look in Argos or Milletts or other outdoor sports shops.

I got mine from Ikea. Different colours to choose from and they clip anywhere on the bed so DS moves them about depending on what he's using it for. LED so last ages and the wires are nice and long if you do not have a socket right next to the bed. Will try and link.

My DCs have got these, but they often forget to switch them off and they then get through batteries quite quickly. They're not all that bright, you have to have them close to your head. But they definitely do the job.

thank, will have a look at all these. they do a Lego brick one but it doesnt look like it would be very bright
