Tea for two gift help please - sorry for boring subject....

Can someone enlighten me please? I want to buy a tea for two 'set' for a friend (who loves tea, so they will be pleased, honestly ).

So if you're doing a twee little tray with naice china cups and tea, is it nicer to have a little teapot each or just one big enough for two? Or is there a poshness rule about it?

I would prefer one big pot.

I'd say one bigger pot. Then again, I'd want a big pot just for me anyway :)
