What is the size difference? Are the little people the same size just the 123 ones arms don't move or are they bigger too?

Similar but 123 much simplified and less detsiled. It's suitable for toddlers. No small parts

They are completely different. Probably the same difference as between lego and duplo, tbh.
Playmobil has a lot of small pieces to lose and not really suitable for under 3s...

Really? As different as lego and duplo? Ok well that answers that,I was wondering whether the two sets could be used together when they're older or if one would dwarf the other.Eldest DC old enough for playmobil (but not the fiddliest ones) and youngest more at the 123 stage.

The figures are the same size but the arms are attached to the bodies.

We have a couple of bits of playmobil 123 but both my dds (3.6 and 21 months) have a clear preference for proper playmobil. It does have little bits but neither seem particularly prone to eating them.
