Winchester Market

I thought I might try Winchester market this year, anyone else been? Is it any good? Is there park and ride I will be travelling from Portsmouth?

It will really get you in the xmas mood. Not sure if you need to book the skating. Probably. But very cramped so go off peak.

Ooh I hope to visit this year. It's quite a shame when places get so busy you can't move and see everything properly. But I suppose it proves how nice and popular it must be.
We'll be taking the train to Winchester.

Thanks for your replies I'm taking some friends and it will be Friday 12th December. I can't skate so won't worry about the rink!

I love Winchester market too (and the shops in Winchester in general). It's very Christmassy, but was quite busy even on a school day.
