Homemade presents, cheap to post

I want to post presents but in previous years have spent a small fortune in posting as gifts were too heavy eg jars of chutney...

Any ideas? Thought of making some fudge or something, or some Christmas decorations perhaps?

Fudge is heavy but if you can pack in a flat tray/very shallow box then you might be able to get it thin enough to be a large letter and not a parcel rate post which would help keep postage down

Marshmallows or meringues are fun to make and light!
