My Booths Christmas Book has just arrived!

Cue lots of drooling as I peruse it's pages. Anyone else get one?

Mmmmmm, Furness three game roast.

Mmmmmm, chocolate!

I still have mine from last year! I couldn't bear to throw it away Grin

wanttosinglikemarycoughlan · 03/11/2014 18:49

I'm one of the miserable fuckers who would rather have had a fiver voucher

SauvignonBlanche · 03/11/2014 18:53

I want to be near a Booths, I miss them.Envy

holmessweetholmes · 03/11/2014 19:10

It is certainly drool-worthy! I have just moved up to Cumbria from down south and am in Booths heaven Grin. I had never heard of it a few months ago!

KnittedJimmyChoos · 03/11/2014 19:28

I am confused, is their food ordering catalouge?

clr2014 · 03/11/2014 21:03

Got mine today. It is gorgeous! Lovely cover. i'm nowhere near a Booths (use them on holidays each summer)... will use the recipes in it.

andadietcoke · 03/11/2014 21:08

TiredNow could they have all gone? They had them in Knutsford a couple of weeks ago, just by the tills.

Doughnutselfie yes yes to misted veg, and the wine juke box is a lunchtime treat to behold.

Lilymaid · 05/11/2014 10:40

Mine arrived yesterday so spent an evening drooling over food porn. Cloth bound (Waitrose cannot compete!)

KnittedJimmyChoos · 05/11/2014 10:44

I am stunned and very Envy, in fact tremendously Envy. It looks amazing, just from that book, that little snap shot on here, one can see why booths is so raved about. Envy

KeemaNaanAndCAMPAIGNOn · 06/11/2014 11:45

I'll need to start a Booth Appreciation Society on MN so we can all drool together!

wingcommandergallic · 06/11/2014 12:42

They're in Cumbria and LANCASHIRE! I trust they haven't ventured to the wrong side of the Pennines yet. Grin

I love their local produce, especially cake and beer and the cheese counter is awesome.

Toadsrevisited · 06/11/2014 18:48

We've got three in Yorkshire!

SauvignonBlanche · 06/11/2014 18:53

Three in Yorkshire and only one in Cheshire, that's not fair! Envy

wingcommandergallic · 06/11/2014 19:16

They'll get there. It costs millions to set up a new store.

SauvignonBlanche · 06/11/2014 19:37

I don't think they'll be in a rush, Waitrose opened a large store today. It's very naice but it's not Booths. Sad

AllThatGlistens · 06/11/2014 20:09

I'm currently drooling over my Booths catalogue.

I stroked the gorgeous cover, sighed happily and DH looked at me like this Hmm

This will be costly Grin

wanttosinglikemarycoughlan · 06/11/2014 20:11

If anyone is that desperate for one I will get one from my local store
Mine went in the recycling

RunawayReindeer · 06/11/2014 20:29

Yes pleeeeeeeeeeease mary

RunawayReindeer · 06/11/2014 20:30

Sorry wantto I suspect it would make my year Christmas Grin

fuctifino · 06/11/2014 20:37

I have my eye on the chocolate log, £25 Shock but it's not in store yet.
I send regular food parcels to my mum from Booths, things she can't get local to her.
I love Booths, even their self checkout tills are superior to all others Grin

AllThatGlistens · 06/11/2014 20:43

I could trawl to Knutsford if I had to, but I will happily take advantage of their new delivery service this year!

The chocolate malt cake looks delicious.

ouryve · 06/11/2014 20:45

I do wish Booths would move out East a bit more :(

Haven't even got a decent Waitrose in convenient striking distance.

wanttosinglikemarycoughlan · 06/11/2014 20:45

I will call in tomorrow and pick a couple up,as long as they still have them, then post again and you can pm address
They had plenty earlier this week

WestmorlandSausage · 06/11/2014 20:56

KeemaNaanAndCurryOn

Hmmm yes Plumgarths..... with their claims that they sold Namibian beef because there was a 'shortage' of British Beef (WTAF!?) and the fact that they sell their chicken at free range prices, under the Plumgarth's livery but without actually stating that it is free range chicken....

business.highbeam.com/410294/article-1G1-111371160/foreign-beef-sold-due-uk-shortage

Sorry to shatter any illusions. But other than that I love Booths they also sell our actual British beef and lamb

WestmorlandSausage · 06/11/2014 20:59

to confirm, I don't actually KNOW it isn't free range. But it is usual for producers of free range chicken to state on the packaging that it is free range.
