I am sure I saw these around last year, but can't remember where! Hmm Has anyone spotted any?

A kit?

We just use coloured paper of whatever colours preferred, scissors and stapler

TheWoollybacksWife · 21/10/2014 21:08

I've seen them in John Lewis and Wilkinson's.

The book people have a book which has lots of lovely paper chains you can cut out. Can't remember the name but it's something like Christmas crafts.

mummybear1985 · 21/10/2014 21:21

Ah it may have been the book people where I saw them, thanks!
By a kit I mean just the strips of paper in packs - reds/greens/gold/silver etc and printed with snowflakes/santa faces etc on Smile x

Yes, the Usborne cutting and sticking Christmas book at The Book People is great value.

Muchtoomuchtodo · 21/10/2014 21:25

I got ours from Home bargains and the 99p shop last year.

The year before I got them from paperchase and pheonix cards.

Our dc enjoyed them all - I won't be spending £'s on them again!

Jakadaal · 21/10/2014 21:34

Hobbycraft have them and also our local Poundland had them last year (obviously much cheaper than Hobbycraft!)

MmeMorrible · 21/10/2014 21:36

Another vote for the 'Big Book of Christmas Decorations to cut, fold & stick' which is £4.99 from the Book People.

We had one last year and it kept the DC entertained for hours. Have just ordered one for this year.

ShowMeShowMeTheWine · 21/10/2014 21:46

Matalan have them

songbird · 21/10/2014 21:48

If you know someone who does Phoenix trading cards etc they have lovely paper chains and they're not too dear.

TheSpottedZebra · 21/10/2014 21:51

The Range had a, er, range of them.

NerfHerder · 21/10/2014 23:06

The Usborne paper chain book is great- lovely designs.
My children made dozens last year!

girlywhirly · 22/10/2014 08:55

We used to cut strips of holographic wrapping paper and stick them into loops with tape. They were very sparkly! If you cut your own you can make the strips wider for a chunky paperchain.

losersaywhat · 22/10/2014 09:36

I love the usbourne book. Ive got mine sitting on the fridge waiting till December. I might be guilty last year of waiting till the kids were in bed to make some of the decorations myself so that they were done properly Grin

iwantavuvezela · 22/10/2014 09:39

I bought some beautiful ones from the amnesty catalogue. Really beautiful paper all precut, that you put together.

spideysenses · 22/10/2014 09:47

Had some from wilkinson so and the pound shop last year, I was also guilty of overseeing to make sure they were perfect Wink the two year olds went upstairs in the bedrooms Grin

marne2 · 22/10/2014 14:25

I bought so e from Matalan a few weeks ago.

Mum2Pea · 22/10/2014 14:30

I ordered these earlier this week - not sure of quality yet as not arrived yet

kiwidreamer · 22/10/2014 16:32

We got ours from home bargains last year, pre cut and nice design / colours.

Oldraver · 22/10/2014 17:01

I bought quite a few last years from 99p shop and some supermarkets. DS had them in his room

ireallydontlikemonday · 22/10/2014 19:08

Pound shop and 99p stores, perfect for the kids ruin them!

ipswichwitch · 23/10/2014 10:41

I ordered the book people one, and it looks great. There are also cut out snowflakes and lanterns too if you get fed up doing paper chains.
