3 for 2 Boots....

Is it just me that thinks its shite?
Ive been looking online and all the stuff is more expensive than other shops so in reality you are paying for the 3rd item, especially if you buy 2 decent priced items and one cheaper item.
Has anyone had a good bargain?

The best ive seen is the Anna and Elsa dolls. £17 same as everywhere else, but in the 3-4-2, so I bought the two plus a lovely Starbucks Coffee gift set for the same price which was the freebie. I was buying the dolls anyways from anywhere so it made sense to go there.

I will also be buying plenty of the No.7 and Sanctuary spa stuff for DM and MIL so I can only get those from.Boots. I will however wait til the have them on star buys or they have the bumper points days.

The range of Jack Wills stuff this year is bang on trend so Id imagine loads of teen girls will be having stockings full of that stuff and its is priced the same as the JW shop stuff.

Other than that I havent delved too deeply into the range of stuff.

I do like the gift sets but i find superdrug have some much better deals.
Christmas shopping is sending me bonkers already

I've had a looksie at the Boots website - the Jack Willis stuff looks nice for DD (label lover type)

Quickie Question on the 3 for 2.........

If I buy £20+£20+£20 and £10+£10+£10 and they are all in the offer, does that give you a £20 + £10 free or 2x £10 (in which case I'd buy the first lot seperate then put the next lot through )

They rank them in price order and you get every third item free so

20 20 20(free) 10 10 10 (free)

I'm rifling through my extra points vouchers too and thinking how to make this work best. (I need to build up enough points to get the No7 Advent Calender free then it's a proper present -for me. Last year I managed to save enough for a bottle of perfume for DD , so she doesn't need more, but probably wants )

You'll get the cheapest ones free 70s so you're better of doing 2 separate transactions.

They changed it about four or five years ago when they realisrd people would do separate purchases.

ThinkIvebeenHacked is correct. They actually make a point of advertising that you get the items ranked so that you don't lose out on the 3-4-2 savings.
