My children both love minecraft and are asking for bits for christmas but everything seems really overpriced for what it is. Has anyone seen any reasonably priced bits? Toys or clothes.

Thank you

My youngest loves minecraft too. He has a t-shirt that wears constantly and a redstone touch light thing that never gets used! HmmHe wants a pickaxe, the soft plush toys and the green creeper mug but they are all not cheap.
I did see some playsets the other day which looked reasonable-ish that may have more play value Smile

Asda have some minecraft clothes in, I think the t-shirts start at £6 and they have hoodies as well but I don't know how much they are but probably about £12.

The entertainer had some things in as well.

Minecraft Lego comes out in Nov and looks amazing but prices are unknown...it will be popular, so could be expensive.

Last year I had a mug made for my DS with a Minecraft picture on and his name, he loves it. I got it for £3 inc. delivery with Boots photo when they had a promotion on.

There are really good books in the Book Club magazine I got yesterday.

DS has one already. Really loves it.

Homebargains had diamond Steve figure, thinks it's £7.99 but no idea if it actually does anything or what its purpose is.

Mine have both really enjoyed putting together the minecraft paper craft sets, they are fairly reasonably priced. I think there is a minecraft annual out too.

itiswhatitiswhatitis · 15/10/2014 21:09

Am hoping to get my hands on the new Lego sets. Fortunately DH is Lego mad so it will be the one time he over looks the price tag!

shitonit · 15/10/2014 21:47

Thank you. We have all the books and a few t shirts. Will look into the lego and other bits.
