Christmas city break with a toddler?

DH and I live in Spain with our almost two year old and we really fancy going on some sort of city break/Christmas holiday type thing somewhere in the UK or Europe. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm looking for somewhere Christmassy but suitable for a toddler. I thought about London, but I'm not sure if it'll be too much to yomp around with a toddler in a buggy? Any ideas will be rewarded with virtual mince pies (the Lidl near me has already started selling them and I have eaten a whole box a couple already...

We went to Berlin last year when DS3 was 6 months - super child friendly and lots of lovely markets. No problem with the buggy in some of them but in the more packed ones definitely better off with a sling.

Copenhagen also lovely - Tivoli gardens is the spirit of Christmas personified. Went there when DS1 was 18 months and he loved it (buggy was fine there).

On our list for when DS3 is walking more is Venice at Christmas which is supposed to be beautiful.

PS I live in London - it is beautiful at xmas time but not as many xmas markets as you'd find elsewhere in Europe.

We did a holiday in London just after Christmas one year when DS had just turned 2. It was supposed to be Copenhagen but we found put the day before our flight that our airline had gone bust so had a v. quick rethink. It was very easy around London with a pushchair.
