I was looking at these too. If you go onto their website, it lets you preview the whole book with your choice of child's name. The story is lovely.

They are very nice inside. When I ordered you could only get softcover and I think it would be better with hardcover (that's my only niggle) -- not sure whether there's a hardcover option now.

There was a problem printing mine last year and it took about 6weeks to arrive.
When it arrived it was all torn and had obviously been wet at some point too as it was all wrinkled. Think this was a problem with delivery rather than the lost my name people though.
Couldn't be bothered to do anything about it as I'd had to wait so long in the first place and had been told twice my book had been posted when it hadn't.
Randomly a second book showed up anyhow. Presumably because I'd complained several times about the no show book and then it must have accidentally been sent twice.

We've read it twice. After all that ds doesn't even like it. I think they're a bit odd, sorry going against the grain I know. They're a bit random.

Hardbacks are coming out in a few weeks I think. Something showed up in my FB feed earlier today.

I've bought my DS2 one to give on his birthday. Think he'll love it, it's right up his street.

We have one and the pictures are dark and dreary. DD is totally uninterested in the book. They are really expensive for what you get.

I got DS one for his second birthday, he loves it and always asks to read "the DS name book"

Beautiful books...I have bought a couple for Christenings and births. Maybe a bit like wooden toys....parents love them more than the children.
