I mean you could look at it like, the kids are going to have the stockings for all their childhood - what will that work out as per year? Why, practically nothing! Suddenly they seem like fantastic value Wink

Grin all their childhood and indeed....beyond these are heirloom items Grin

Organising the stockings was one of my favourite things in the lead up to the wedding! From what I know they're all still used 7 years later.

one example from Etsy.

On Etsy there are 16 pages of personalised Christmas stockings from shops in the UK.

Update

So.....I chose my stockings, my halloween treat bags and a kind friend said she would bring them over for me, all came to only £52.

Then we were unable to put in our billing adress and her delivery address.

So I had a look at shipping here and just the £ ADDED another 20 without duty and shipping AND it wont send one stocking Confused said it cant ship it, which is bizzaree.

so I was so close. So close, even got DD to choose them and everything and now....all dreams gone Sad

I have PB stockings for myself, DD and DP, LOVE THEM ! and they are big enough to actually fit stuff in , most stockings I'd struggle to fit a CD nevermind a DVD in . To order stuff from the States check out USBUYERSCLUB, they are on FB and have their own website too. The US has a system whereby you can get an address ( it has a specific name for this address but can't think of it at the moment ), it's almost like a P.O. box so when you join USbuyers you get one of these addresses to use. Then either you can go on to sites yourself and order items to be sent to this address, or you can 'cut and paste' your shopping basket of items, email it to Ann/Aidan and they will order for you. I found it best to get them to do it because they could sometimes get discounts/free shipping if they were placing an order for a number of their customers. The items arive to your address, they unpack them (so if you had orders from say Carters, PB and Old Navy they would combine them so you get 1 package and aren't paying fro 3 seperate deliveries from US to UK ) and then send it through normal post so not as expensive as a courier. I used it a lot when DD was small ( and would wear what I put her in lol !), buying clothes in the huge sales they have in the US meant I got lovely stuff that washed really well for similar or cheaper than I'd buy on the highstreet here.

Oh to join USBUYERS it cost about 30 for the year and there was a small % charge per package they send you - if you are into labels it works out a way to save LOTS of money cos you can shop in the Macy sales etc .
