Buffet ideas

Will be hosting a get together with about 10 people near Christmas. Thought I'd do some Christmas shaped cheese biscuits and meringue trees, maybe something with turkey?

Does anyone have an particularly nice Christmas buffet recipes please?

Marmite and cheese whirls (you could call the baubles) always go down a storm here.

Buy puff pastry, roll out
Warm marmite in microwave for 5-10secs
Spread on pastry
Sprinkle with grated cheese
Roll up
Put in fridge for a few minutes to set
Cut into slices about 1 cm wide
Put in over until golden

What about turkey and cranberry pie or turkey and ham pie? Coronation turkey?

What about some ham?
Pickles and chutneys
Crusty bread
some good ideas here

I plan on doing a ham- in the slow cooker so easy prepared in advance. Cheese board and chutneys with baguettes. And maybe a giant mac and cheese to go with it a la Nigella Xmas book

HAS to be a cheese and pineapple hedgehog. Otherwise its not a buffet.
