Has anyone been to the Santa thing at LEGOLAND?

Is it worth it? What's the experience like?

I was planning to do the Santa sleepover this year (heard great things last year) but they called me a few weeks ago and said they aren't doing it this year as hotel being refurbished Angry

We went last year, our DS were 7 and 4. We enjoyed it. You have a time slot to visit Father Christmas and get a gift, and it was really well done. There were several rides open and no queues which was nice, but not enough rides to fill a whole day. There were christmas themed activities as well such Xmas lego model making and biscuit icing. It's definitely worth staying until it gets dark, because the lights were beautiful.

We went the year before last - they have hiked the prices up this year. The lights are lovely, enough rides for half a day and the gift from Santa is good. But be prepared for a lot if the park to be closed eg mini land. We would have loved to have gone this year but cannot justify the price when only a handful of rides are open we think that you are better of getting a 241 or using tesco club card deal on an off peak time. Oh also my DCs queried the number if Santa huts so close together.

Can you use your annual passes for the Christmas events do you know?

SmileAndNod · 20/09/2014 06:22

Found it on their page, thank you. Doesn't seem to be an awful lot open ride wise, for my Dcs anyway.
