My teens just get money and some little things to open at Christmas, have to cut back a wee bit this year and just wondered how much you would think is ok for 17, 18, and 20 year olds?

I think it depends in what you can afford. The one year my mum agreed to give me money for Christmas she gave me about £100. She wrapped each note up along with a small present. It was very cute and I remember being thrilled to have £100 to go shopping in the sales with.
