Amazon Black Friday.....

Never used it before. However, DH would love a 42 or 50 inch TV. The only way I could afford this is if I managed to snag a bargain. Should I wait for black Friday or can any one else recommend a shop?

We bought our tvs from sainsburys and currys - we kept an eye out for a good deal - there should be something between now and Xmas.

Asda did Black Friday last year. I popped in and I think they had 42 inch tvs for about £400. I went at 11am and I saw loads of people waking out with them and they had a few left, but you need to get there early.

Asda Black Friday had been and gone by about half nine here (south east)

I LOVE Black friday. Always save money up for it.

When is it?

AFAIK 3pigs it's the day after Thanksgiving.

DH and I always go shopping on the last Friday in November , last year we stopped off at Asda near Bluewater (this was about just after dropping the DC at school and driving straight there ) it was near empty of electrical goods.

(Amazon do Black Friday though if you want a TV and aren;'t anti-Amazon

Argos have got some good TVs at good prices might be worth a look

I got loads of amazon on black friday a few things that were meant to be 60 reduced to 20

Most of the perfume was greatly reduced too.

When is it again ? Is it the same date every year ?
