Hi, just wondering if little girls actually like Lottie dolls.

I am all for the idea and think they look very sweet, but I have a feeling Lottie would be spurned in favour of Barbie-style dolls.
Does anyone's DD have one?

They are expensive, but my dd loves her pirate doll. She does actually believe, she is herself a pirate. Disclaimer , she is only three.

My 4yo loves hers! Got her the snow Queen and pony riding one. She calls them elsa and Anna. The b&m ponies in stable set are the right scale for them. They are lovely dolls we really like them. They can stand up and their bodies are a child healthy body. No scary hip to waist ratio thank God like barbie.

They are quite small so I've found making extra clothes for them quite tricky.
Good customer service though, we lost a shoe and they sent us another pair.

Am considering buying 'fat' barbie as the mum! The size 12 barbie has launched in the UK now, no way is she getting an old style thin one. Possibly the mermaid barbie would be OK, coz they are mythical creatures, right?!

Love that the corporate colours are the suffrage colours.

We also have the swim set, superhero and football sets of clothes. All really good.

Good choice of hair colour and skin colour too.

Both my girls love Lottie dolls, the accessories are fantastic!

My DD (6) has a couple and has asked for another for Christmas; she loves them.

We haven't got one yet but as the parent of a hearing impaired child i love that Mia the lottie wildlife photographer doll has been launched with cochlear implants as part of her story but not a focus.

My 8-y-o DD is into Lottie dolls. We’ve ditched the Barbies etc. and she’s perfectly happy. She particularly likes their hair as it doesn’t get knotty. I think the quality is good.

My DD has a Lottie Doll and the dog with the accessories. Both are absolutely gorgeous! DD really isn't into dolls though so rarely plays with her (has never played with baby dolls, pram, barbie etc) Of all the adjectives I'd use to describe Lottie, cheap looking definitely isn't one of them!

DD loves them. Definitely not cheap looking. Far more identifiable with for young kids than Barbie. Stargazer and Brownie are her favourites. There are good offers on them frequently.

I love the look of the Lottie dolls but when I showed my six year old she was very unimpressed so I won't be getting her one.

My 7yo loves her Lottie doll, had it for years...unfortunately we can't find it so she's asked for another for Christmas. I'm genuinely gutted as she's played with her so much.
