Does anyone know where I can get hold of the Disney store version. There websites out of stock and ebay are just ripping people off!

You just have to be lucky, I managed to get DD one by checking the website every day. Another friend of mine spoke to store staff to find out when they had a delivery and turned up at 9am when the store opened to snap one up.

JerseySpud · 16/08/2014 22:32

aliexpress

ava30 · 16/08/2014 22:40

Thanks I had a look at aliexpress but it all comes from China and is fake.

As advice up thread. Check Disney website a few times a day, it is constantly changing according to stock levels. That's how I got dd the anna & Elsa dolls. Good luck!

NormHonal · 16/08/2014 22:45

Amazon has them but they cost £15 more than the Disney Store ones.

Agree you need to keep checking the website regularly (daily at least) and get lucky, sorry!

JerseySpud · 16/08/2014 22:50

i dont know if they are fake fake as my friend bought them and they had the disney store authentic things on them too

JimmyCorkhill · 16/08/2014 22:56

Constant checking of the website. I did this at least twice a day for a month to get the Elsa doll (plastic Barbie type one). I actually felt a real sense of achievement when I got one ha ha!

Call the nearest store and ask what days they get deliveries. Phone just after 9am on the morning of deliveries to find out if they have got any in - they will then reserve for you for 24 hours.

Obviously this only works if you are somewhere near a store and can get in within 24 hours.

ava30 · 16/08/2014 23:08

No chance of me getting to a store so will just have to keep checking the website :/

I didn't actually go to a store - I delegated to my lovely retired DM who sorted it all out as she is nearer various Disney stores and has more time. Do you know anyone who might be able to do that for you?

ava30 · 16/08/2014 23:13

No :(

My MIL was able to reserve elsa outfits in store. Phone your local and ask. She had to call at 9 am on delivery day and it was reserved for 24 hours.

JimmyCorkhill · 17/08/2014 09:25

You have to make it part of your daily routine. Breakfast: check website/afternoon cuppa: check website/just off to bed:check website Grin

I became an expert on their Frozen stock "ooh DH, those lunchboxes sold out in a day" "aw, no one wants Olaf"... GrinGrin

I nearly fainted when Elsa actually appeared!

LokiBear · 19/08/2014 19:45

Saw them in Debenham's toy section today.

Withmyfeetinthesink · 20/08/2014 14:24

Aberdeen Disney Store has had lots of stock in for ages - they never seem to sell out. If not near there, can they transfer for you?

ava30 · 20/08/2014 17:49

Thanks for the info withmyfeetinthesink. Gave our local store a ring to see if I could get one sent to me from Aberdeen but no luck :( They never seem to have any in London available to buy.

SIL got DD1 (aged 7) the Anna and Elsa dolls for her birthday. Not sure how she did it but her poor little daughter (aged 7 also) was so upset that she couldn't have them that she's preordered them for birthday in October.

aubreye · 20/08/2014 22:17

They have the Anna soft doll on there at the mo!!

ava30 · 20/08/2014 22:37

How can you preorder them?

We've been at Hollywood studios in Florida today where everything almost is frozen focused. You can't believe how busy the frozen shop is all the time there!! Disney must be benefitting so much from this film!

It's strange. I've never seen the film but since arriving here I know so much about it lol. We're also bringing home reversible Anna/Elsa plush dolls and the small size Olaf soft toys, pre ordered by family/friends :)
Dd was tempted but marvel heroes and Harry Potter have won her money.

Augustwedding · 21/08/2014 05:23

Ava I am on holiday in the states and keep seeing Disney shops so I'll pop in and have a look. If I find it I'd be happy to get it and bring home then post to you. Could you post a link so I know what I'm looking for as I do not have children yet!

allisgood1 · 21/08/2014 06:14
