Moving to caerphilly

I moved to Ammanford this march from Essex. I thought I wanted a quieter life style for my son but am finding myself becoming increasingly bored with nothing to do. Been looking around an places to move to and have come across caerphilly. Would love to know peoples thoughts on the area.
