Kids dressing up clothes...

I'd like to do a dress up box for my niece for Christmas. I have about £30 to spend. Can anyone point me in the direction of where to go to get the most for my money?

I would look for different stuff in Home Bargains and pound shops. Even things like silly 99p sunglasses and funny hats are appreciated by little ones.

Toysrus do a treasure chest full of girls' dressing up bits if you don't have time to put one together yourself. My kids love hats, glasses, handbags etc that can all be scrounged out of your own wardrobe. I've also used tesco points over the years to double up for costumes. Elc sell lovely doctor, vet, fireman outfits. Dd had a doctor's costume and bag from there when she was little that was played with endlessly. Might be worth spending your budget on something like that rather than trying to get loads of bits.

I think hit the supermarkets, they often have dress up clothes for about 8 each (esp at Halloween), could get a couple of dresses and then get a few land bits like a magic wand, cat ears, rabbit ears etc.

Home bargains always have outfits in near us think they are £5-£7
Agree with pound shop too - which ever has the free sign (pound world?) had the best things in when I did this for my nephew
Depending on how people you are giving too feel have a look on eBay or nearly new sales - I got ds and dn great things for little amount of money and I know my sister has no issue with nns stuff if he gets 4-5 dressing up outfits instead of 1 or 2

If you have a B&M near you they do very cheap outfits, also take a look at TK Maxx clearance online.

tk maxx has nice stuff for new, for my own children I have also picked up some very good quality stuff off Ebay, especially Lego, but I appreciate you might not want to do that for a Xmas present. Capes, tabards, accessories and hats are good, as they take longer to grow out of, anything that is fitted, has tightish sleeves etc will be usable for a shorter time.
