Which part of christmas dinner is ok to prep tonight?

Most of it!

I'll be prepping all veg and leaving in water overnight. We don't do turkey but we will roast all other meat (lamb/beef/chicken) and slice up today. It reheats beautifully in the steamer.

I know some people may think that sounds bonkers but there are 9 adults eating at mine tomorrow (plus a toddler in a highchair) and I don't want to spend the entire day in my very small kitchen!

The veg, chop & put in pans of cold water.
Make starter if poss & then finish/cook next day.
Set the table tonight
take out of the freezer anything that needs defrosting
can you make gravy now & cool and then add meat juices tomorrow & finish off?
Count out & wash all crockery, cutlery & glasses
Make sure you have enough tea, coffee & milk

I'm planning on parboiling potatoes, prepping veg, make stuffing and make desert today. And setting the table.

Better get cracking!!
