My hairdresser passed on a great tip today.
She parboiled peeled potatoes. Then melted the goose fat and dipped each potatoe in it, then popped all 'dipped' potatoes into a sealed container and bungs them in the freezer.
Then Xmas Day, puts them in the baking tray and cooks!!! Bish bosh!
She also peels and chops and parboils all her Xmas day vegetables and then popped them into a sealed container and freezes them. Then just boils them on Xmas day!!
Why didn't I know about this????
