I just got the Playmobil large farm reduced from £40 to £10 as I was doing my groceries in Tesco! I'm delighted (it eased the twitchiness I was feelin over youngest DS's, who is 18 months, very sensible pile of presents) Smile
Definitely my best bargain of the season. What's yours?

I thought I'd struggle to get a new bike for DD2 for under £100. In the end she chose one from Toysrus that was down to £79, then I went home and ordered it on the 20% off weekend and got it for about £65. :)

Got a furby for her with the change as they had them for £45 with 20% off that price.

Got a playmobil lion knights castle for £49.99 instead of £130.

That's amazing Frozen!
Aw I'm sure she'll be delighted with her bike and Furby - we have a Furby coming too, will be interesting to see if they're as annoying as everyone says Grin

I got some playmobil at the local garden centre for 70% off, they were selling off some of their overstock apparently. Total total bargain.

I also got my mom a brand new Modalu handbag off eBay for £80 instead of £169. It was from a shop who are registered as stockists on the Modalu website so fairly sure is genuine, think the shop is shutting down so they are selling off end of lines / last season. I am very pleased with this bargain.

Oh and I got a massive load of hm armed forces toys barely used off eBay for £40. There's loads, a tank, a jeep, a jet, a helicopter, a snow mobile, a parachutist and several figures too. I reckon it would cost about £200 new and it's barely played with. Like new.

Papo wooden castle. It was an Amazon cock-up and I got it for £17 instead of £90. Xmas Grin

A pack of 2 'design your own' jigsaws, complete with a set of pens for my niece. £1. Yes. £1.

I did buy her something else too!

DisneyAddict88 · 24/12/2013 01:48

got dd1 a sylvannian lodge with family and furniture for £5.50 boxed on ebay Grin then bought a bundle of people and 2 motorbike sets and once ive sold on the extras the motorbike set will cost me nothing!!

then dd2 I got her a happyland box with cottage, church, people and cars for £3 from a jumble sale

Hawkmoth · 24/12/2013 01:52

OvO I got that castle too, but was so excited that DS saw me order it so he got it as a moving house present instead.

I have a feeling my best bargains will be a Monsters University race play set and three monsters that roll and pop up scary. I got them in Home Bargains for a total of £15 and on the same day they were in the Entertainer for what would have been £36. It's a nice big present and the sort of thing they actually play with for hours.
