What are you doing?

Our Elf has bought Christmas joke books as his final treat and some candy canes. I might hide him in the playroom but have yet to write his farewell letter.

Can't bear to let him go on Christmas Eve - so am hanging on until Christmas Day :-)

But will be doing something v naughty tonight,,,just don't know what. Yesterday he played boggle with ratatouille!

My 3 year old DD was sobbing this evening when I explained that tomorrow is his last day

The DCs said goodbye to the Elf before going to bed, he will not be here in the morning but has left a bag with Christmas Eve things in his place. He has written a little note on the bag thanking them for taking such good care of him and saying he will see them next year. DD was asking just as she was going to bed whether he will be back next year. Am not sure if she will still believe by then so I felt a bit sad thinking this might be the last year they both still believe.
