Bacon rolls for everyone but ds who always has pain au chocolat. Washed down with a glass of Buck's Fizz, Bloody Mary's and coffee.

HoHoHopelessAtNamingBabies · 22/12/2013 09:26

Smoked salmon or naice ham on toast for DH and me. Croissant and jam for DD.

Usually Buck's Fizz but am pregnant so will save my ration for later on the day.

Cinnamon rolls & coffee.

mrspremise · 22/12/2013 09:50

I'm making cinnamon rolls on Christmas Eve to bake on Christmas morning. I generally prefer an 'ambulant', hand-held kind of breakfast so that the children don't strop about leaving their parcels even for a moment. Plus they go really well with champagne strong coffee Wink

Thanks raisah Grin

despite being nearly 32 I will still have mini packets of kellogs cereal as these were mega treat as a kid Grin will also have pastries, naice coffe, juice, naice jam and toast. not very fancy but easy and upgraded versions. this is obviously after a starter of chocolate coins from the stockings Grin

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 22/12/2013 11:33

Pastries, fruit and lots and lots of coffee here. Oh and good bread and good lemon curd - because it is my favourite!

TripTrapTripTrapOverTheBridge · 22/12/2013 21:32

Me and ds will be having waffles and pancakes with golden syrup.

I would love bacon rolls but can't be bothered!

VoldemortsNipple · 22/12/2013 21:38

Well my plans for freshly baked pastries from jusrol was scuppered today when there were none left on the shelf in Asda.

Maybe I'll go to Lidl tomorrow and pick up a selection from there instead. We will also have bacon rolls on freshly baked parbaked bread.

TheWoollybacksWife · 22/12/2013 22:02

DH will have coffee, cornflakes and a croissant. I have bought chocolate chip panettone for the rest of us and plan to toast it in thick slices. I'll have mine with a satsuma, tea and bucks fizz. The DCs will probably have hot chocolate and a selection box

PassAFist · 22/12/2013 22:05

Crock pot french toast cooked overnight and ready that morning!

tassisssss · 22/12/2013 22:05

pancakes, bacon and maple syrup

TinselTaTas · 22/12/2013 22:12

Pass do you have a recipe for slow cooked french toast? That would be lovely for dsd!

PoppyRoseViolet · 23/12/2013 13:28

We'll be having scrambled eggs and smoked salmon on toasted croissants, washed down with a glass of champagne. Yum! Smile

raisah · 23/12/2013 13:34

Waitrose have breakfast pastries in the freezer section so cinnamon roll, danish pastries etc.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 23/12/2013 14:32

I got the Waitrose bakery and frozen croissants today.
We'll have the fresh ones tomorrow with jam and the Nigella Vanilla Tree Cake (but not in a tree shape) with chocolate sauce/Nutella.

We can do the frozen ones for Boxing Day.

Christmas Day will be toast/eggy bread, vegetarian bacon, potato scones, fried eggs, coffee and fruit juice.

If I can get DS away from his X-Box long enough Hmm

QueNoelle · 23/12/2013 14:35

We are having French toast with crispy bacon and maple syrup.

ladymariner · 23/12/2013 21:30

Sausage roll and a glass of fizz.....we are eating at 12.30 so anything bigger and we wouldn't eat our Christmas dinner and that would be awful! Xmas Smile

iklboo · 23/12/2013 21:34

Pancakes - with mixed berries & ice cream for me & DS, streaky bacon & maple syrup for DH.

LadyMetroland · 23/12/2013 21:40

Pannetone (very very light Italian cake brioche type thing) and usual strong Italian coffee. Probably fruit too.

Definitely don't fancy anything with bacon or sausage if Im having turkey and all the trimmings for lunch!

HectorVector · 23/12/2013 21:41

Nigella's Xmas morning muffins.

Mum2Fergus · 23/12/2013 21:42

How do you slow Cook French toast?!

wasabipeanut · 23/12/2013 21:45

Panettone here too - toasted with salted butter. Mmmmmmm. My lot all like different things for breakfast so we have ham, smoked salmon, panettone & Nigellas Xmas muffins and good bread/toast on the table and everyone helps themselves.

It's the one day of the year I eat cake for breakfast and I enjoy every second!

ZeViteVitchofCwismas · 23/12/2013 22:15

Bloody Marys, what a great idea!

groovejet · 24/12/2013 07:57

Panettone here as weel with mini croissants and pain au chocolats, fresh OJ and strong coffee.
