1st class post!

You'd better get a wiggle on, the cards will need to be sent tomorrow. Try and get them all done tonight if you can.

Ex sent a message to say he's got his cards and the kids have got his so that's a small worry out of the way.

I'm laughing at my mate who leaves things to the last minute - every single year. Put it this way, she got the gifts last week and that's it. She's done nothing. The funny bit is...every single year, throught the year she laughs and takes the piss out of me when I buy stuff for Christmas and now we've less than a week to go, she's having serious panic attacks and getting really stressed.

For the past three years she says to me - I must be more like you and get more organised...she never will bless her.

Yikes! It's nearly here!

24 hours to go and I'm free until January Xmas Grin

I twitched today. Very badly. Ordered a few more bits on amazon Xmas Blush

farrowandbawlbauls · 19/12/2013 16:59

What did you order?

I've not been on ebay or amazon or gone out today because of the twitch. Lest year it cost me nearly £150, and I'm not going to do that again in a hurry.

I got my hair done though but that was booked weeks ago.

ISawMamaPizzaKissingSantaClaus · 19/12/2013 20:05

Not too much, only £17 in total. AquaDragons (he saw the advert and asked for them and I wanted to get them for his birthday anyway), animal snap and a growing dino egg.
I managed to resist a playmobil order of £42 yesterday, so not too bad.

Last order date is tomorrow anyway, so if we twitch again, it has to be 'in real' and no way I am going to be brave enough to go to proper shops.

TheOnlySevenSleighbells · 19/12/2013 20:20

I got the twitch and ordered a pramsuit for DD2, she doesn't have as much as the other two though.

farrow my sister is exactly the same, I think I offended her the other day when I said she never learns her lesson. They're going away for Christmas on Monday, she's doing all of her shopping on Saturday. I can't understand why anyone would want to do it this late, we last went into the city centre last week midweek and it was crazy.

farrowandbawlbauls · 19/12/2013 20:36

Grin Seven, glad it's not just me then.

I avoid the City Centre and both shopping centres at this time of year like the plague. As for supermarkets - forget it, online shopping (although unpredictable) this time of year is god sent. Any missing items can be picked up at the local co-op which is open until 6pm Christmas eve.

I will never understand people who leave everything to the last minute though. I wonder if it's the same with their time keeping? The friend I mentioned is terrible and is late for everything because she thinks she can get to everywhere in 10 minutes (although she is better now she's not got a car and has to use public transport).
