I really struggle to find anything for my mother. She doesn't really want for much and is quite limited in her tastes. She likes quite pricey perfume (so somewhat out of my price range) and her kindle is in constant use. She is disabled so can't really get our and about, doesn't really cook for fun or anything like that, not into chocolate.

I have gotten her one of her favourite perfumes as a shower gel (she loves the shower gels too) but that means I want to avoid anything bath set like. I was thinking of also getting her an Amazon voucher so she can buy herself some books throughout the year.

Does anyone have some random maybe off-the-wall small gift ideas that I could give from the kids?

A cover for her kindle?
A candle / those reed room scenting things

Could you take her out for a meal?

Does she feel the cold when inside? A pair of wrist warmers (like fingerless mittens! so she can still use her fingers for stuff like the Kindle.

Does she already have a nice case on her Kindle?

Um.... parents are hard aren't they!

I see that you say she is disabled, but does she knit or crochet or have an interest in anything like that?

Does she wear glasses? A leather lanyard for her glasses might be nice (on etsy for example).

Thanks so much for the suggestions so far! Flowers all round

She does have a rather nice case for her kindle sadly (well for me, not her). And she really doesn't have any hobbies other than reading.

Love the wrist warmer idea though, she has Reynauds and that may help.

Parents are hard Wink. Though I shouldn't say that, my father is really easy to buy for.

I got my parents (who have everything) a nesting box with a camera thing inside last year. They were absolutely thrilled.

Are audio books any good, just as a change?

How about a magazine subscription?
