Rocking horse repair went a bit wrong!

Got lovely rocking horse from charity shop but had loose handle. You can guess the rest, not my finest hour. One hand covered in superglue and fur! Tripped on the wooden bit at least am not stuck to horse! Bah humbug! Now where did I put the immac?

if you have not destroyed the fur, sand down the handle with course sand paper, do not use super glue .score the back of the fur gently with sand paper, you need to use a wood glue, they type you used at school, the type you can find in art shops its the same,apply the glue to the handle, wait till its tacky, wrap the fur around, wipe of any glue that gets on the fur, dry the fur with a hairdryer then you need to bind the handle tight with any material, leave it for few days, remove binding, any loose edges can be stuck back down and set in place with a hairdryer.
