ThurlHoHoHow · 13/12/2013 22:07

I've just done baubles and then lights. It was ok. Not ideal, but ok!

ilovepowerhoop · 13/12/2013 22:08

lights, tinsel, baubles

BillyBanter · 13/12/2013 22:09

Don't be coming on here giving it large about no tinsel, neither.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 13/12/2013 22:09

FionasFatFairy · 13/12/2013 22:09

No need for lights if you have a fibre optic tree

And no tinsel on my tree.

Just baubles, this year, all crystal r clear glass. Some unbreakable ones at the bottom.

DramaAlpaca · 13/12/2013 22:10

Lights first, then baubles.

CiderwithBuda · 13/12/2013 22:25

Lights
Baubles
NO tinsel

BornToFolk · 13/12/2013 22:28

Lights, tinsel, baubles is, in fact, the only way to do it. Any other way is just wrong. Including leaving out the tinsel Xmas Shock WTF is wrong with you people?! A tree without tinsel is like... ummmm.... Christmas Pud without brandy butter!

BillyBanter · 13/12/2013 22:28

Thread reported for being GOADY!!!! Angry

browniebear · 14/12/2013 00:31

I don't have tinsel but not because I don't like it, I have it elsewhere in the house but just can't ever get it to look right on the tree. It's always wonky and ends where you can seeConfused

BillyBanter · 14/12/2013 00:33

Oh you should never put tinsel anywhere but on a tree. Frightfully common.

DirtyDancingCleanLiving · 14/12/2013 00:46

Lights, then tinsel, then baubles.

I also have tinsel draped here and there, on picture frames and shelves. It looks lovely...common indeed. Shock

LTB

(lights tinsel baubles chocolate

NoComet · 14/12/2013 00:53

lights, bead chains, baubles. Starting at the top and working down, so there is no risk of linking off glass baubles.

Apply restraining order to anyone who so much as breaths near DD1´s Very beautiful German bauble.

Stick unbreakable baubles at bottom where they don't show as much and where present piling and tree watering occurs.

NoComet · 14/12/2013 00:53

knocking off

NoComet · 14/12/2013 00:56

'Santa' puts chocolate on the tree on Xmas eve.

DD's may not believe anymore, but they still scoff chocolate if it's there to tempt them
