Help! "Tiny squidgy toy in a clear ball"

Some children at DD's school have these and DD wants one for Christmas more than anything else. I have no idea where to find them. The toys are mostly animals. I am assuming they are very cheap as they were given away as prizes in a competition run by the school library which DD missed taking part in. Her teachers don't know what they are and the library is run by volunteers who I can't find to ask.
