Magazine subscription?

OhTinky · 11/12/2013 19:18

Liberty London does gift coins instead of vouchers? Look more fun than normal shopping vouchers. But no idea if you can "cash them in" online...

Chocchip88 · 11/12/2013 19:21

Urban Decay Naked/Naked 2 pallet?

nomorebooze · 11/12/2013 19:22

have you looked at mumsnet swear by for beauty products? my sister sounds similar to yours, i buy on recommendation alone then blame the people who made the Recommendation! she likes benefit make up, is v expensive, but lovely! lower cost but still great products are soap and glory range?

harryhausen · 11/12/2013 19:26

Does she like a make-up brand? Benefit makeup is fab with some gorgeous/vintage looking/retro packaging.

harryhausen · 11/12/2013 19:26

Sorry cross post with redcar thereSmile

minilegofigure · 11/12/2013 19:29

My sister is just like this but I've had enough. She can give me some pretty precise clues ie tell me what she wants or she gets voucher . I know it nice to get a surprise but only if you are 'open' to surprises. I don't have all the hours in the day to search for the perfect present and my sister needs to realise this!

harryhausen · 11/12/2013 19:30

I do feel your pain.

My best friend is the pickest (gay) man ever. He only likes 'beautiful' things, not on the high street, no kitchen/household stuff, doesn't do food stuffs....everything has to be quirky, handmade, unique and just 'beautiful'. Although only he knows what that is. Every year I put more energy and thought into his present than my own DH!

(Last year I got it really wrong and he just sighed at me and said "well, I can tell you've tried) Shock

harryhausen · 11/12/2013 19:32

I think minilegofigure is right. I've got to that point and this year I've just bought some stuff I think my friend will like and, well, stuff him! Grin

DontmindifIdo · 11/12/2013 19:42

She sounds hard work, get her this - next year she won't complain about what you get her...

DontmindifIdo · 11/12/2013 19:44

Harryhausen - and get this one for your friend.

ThisIsMeNow · 11/12/2013 19:45

Jo Malone, you can get a small perfume from there for around £30?

nomorebooze · 11/12/2013 20:09

I'm, how about an etiquette book?

Or a mug emblazoned with "I'm rude and proud"
