Robo Fish versus Aqua Bot

i bought the kids the hexbug ones as at the time they were only £4 each! I notice they are back up to nearer £10 now though and no idea if one is technically better than the other? I think the hexbugs you can see the inner workings but the robofish you cant

Ds1 has two of the hexbug aquabot fish. He loves them, they are quite realistic in the way they move and he loves watching them in the bath.

Was thinking of them as a wee extra for my 12 and 13 year olds for their bedrooms - would that be too weird or babyish do you think?

They rarely bath now.

You can get a tank with the hexbug ones, ds is getting it for his birthday.
